Nei suoi dodici anni di intensa attività, Fabio Paris Art Gallery si è distinta a livello nazionale e internazionale per la sua attenzione ai linguaggi della contemporaneità e all’impatto della rivoluzione digitale sull’arte contemporanea, ottenendo anche prestigiosi riconoscimenti come l’Arco Beep Award (Madrid 2009). Riconoscendo la necessità di affiancare, al lavoro pionieristico della galleria, un’attività di formazione e avvicinamento di pubblici più ampi ai linguaggi del contemporaneo, Fabio Paris ha contribuito, nel 2011, alla nascita del Link Art Center, centro che promuove la ricerca artistica con le nuove tecnologie e la riflessione critica sui temi dell’età dell’informazione attraverso l’organizzazione di eventi e l’attività educativa, attivando una fitta rete di collaborazioni a livello locale e internazionale.
Con la chiusura della galleria, Fabio Paris riversa integralmente nel Link Art Center la sua storia, la sua professionalità e la sua attività di consulenza per collezioni pubbliche e private, che è anche una parte importante della mission del Link Art Center. Contestualmente, lo spazio della galleria evolve nel Link Point: uno spazio rinnovato anche fisicamente che costituirà la “base” di un’istituzione che è e rimane nomade, e che servirà, di volta in volta, da project room, spazio per workshop, punto d’incontro, vetrina sui progetti itineranti del Link Art Center.
Il nuovo spazio sarà inaugurato il 29 settembre 2012, in occasione della partecipazione del Link Art Center alla Notte Bianca dell’Arte a Brescia, con un progetto del giovane artista Adam Cruces, americano di stanza a Zurigo.
Il patrimonio di contatti della Fabio Paris Art Gallery sarà trasferito nell’indirizzario del Link Art Center; l’indirizzo e-mail info@fabioparisartgallery.com sarà dismesso, ma Fabio Paris continuerà ad essere reperibile all’indirizzo fabio.paris@linkartcenter.eu.

The Fabio Paris Art Gallery, founded by Fabio Paris in May 2000, is set to close in September 2012 to make way for a new cultural project: the Link Point, a multipurpose venue for the Link Center for the Arts of the Information Age, of which Fabio Paris is a founding partner.
In its twelve years of intense activity, the Fabio Paris Art Gallery has made a name for itself nationally and internationally, for its focus on the languages of contemporary art and the impact of the digital revolution on the art of the present, winning prestigious accolades like the Arco Beep Award (Madrid 2009). Acknowledging the need to complement the gallery’s pioneering work with educational activities and bring the languages of contemporary art to a wider public, in 2011 Fabio Paris helped establish the Link Art Center. The Center promotes artistic research with the new technologies and critical inquiry into the issues of the information age, organising events and educational activities and forging relationships locally and internationally.
With the closure of the gallery, Fabio Paris will bring his distinguished history, professional experience and advisory work for public and private collections to the Link Art Center. The latter also represents a key part of the Link Art Center’s mission. At the same time, the gallery venue will now become the Link Point, a revamped space that will form the “base” for an institution that has always been and remains nomadic. The Link Point will function alternately as a project room, workshop venue, meeting place and showcase for travelling projects produced by the Link Art Center.
The new venue will be inaugurated on 29 September 2012, when the Link Art Center will be taking part in Brescia’s White Night art event, presenting a project by Adam Cruces, a young American artist based in Zurich.
